Petersberg / Bonn. November 28, 2025. On November 26, 2025, the Energy Transition Award (EWA) was presented to over 30 manufacturers as part of the European Sustainability Week at the Steigenberger Icon Grandhotel & Spa Petersberg. The EWA is awarded by the internationally recognized market research and certification institute EUPD Group to those manufacturers who are distinguished by excellent ratings among installers and end customers, driving forward the energy transition in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland in an exemplary manner.
The best manufacturers in the DACH region came together at the ESG Summit, which provided a platform for high-ranking decision-makers in the sustainable economy. They received the award for their commitment in the individual categories – modules, heat pumps, inverters, storage systems and HEMS.The assessment of the manufacturers is based in equal parts on the results of installer and end customer surveys, which are carried out once a year by the EUPD Group in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Around 7,000 end customers and over 400 installers rated the manufacturers’ brands. The award-winning companies have succeeded in comprehensively integrating the new energy world into their product and service portfolio. This makes them a role model for other manufacturers and thus supports successful sustainable development.
